Originally from the north east but now living in London, Jojo makes maps and graphic prints from her sofa in Kilburn.
She graduated in Graphic Design at Northumbria University in 2008 and, after faffing around in various professions for few years, she landed the job of copywriter, and later Creative, at innocent drinks. Nowadays she splits her time between copywriting for brands, selling her wares and contemplating the meaning of life (which is the main inspiration for her work).
Jojo's got a thing for bright colours and bold statements, and her current obsession is drawing ridiculously detailed maps. She started drawing the first one back in 2010 in the hope of learning more about London (she was the girl who’d get the tube from Piccadilly to Leicester Square), and now she’s on a mission to draw each of the London Boroughs one by one and capture the spirit of this brilliant city.
